Gerhard Potuznik might have been one of the very few white producers hypothetically eligible for a place in the ranks of the enigmatic 'Elecktroids' outfit - aside from Frank De Groodt, of course -, with the moniker of D-Lux.
Although here merged with a more frenetic breaks framework, Detroit electro was likely one of the great sonic passions of our hero.
Thanks to a remarkable natural talent, and by skilfully making use of his favorite toy (i.e., a square wave trimmer), he manages to churn out catchy melodies in detroitian flavor, but without ever mocking it.
With this gadget, he doesn't only modulate frequencies and sound waves, he can do a practically infinite number of things with it, such as taming vipers or sticking chewing gum into your earlobe.
