Synthesizer and mixdown greats, with a musical spectrum and taste as wide as their sound engineering skills, during the 90s, P. Pulsinger and E. Tunakan were uncommonly talented "outsiders," living and operating in the capital city of the waltz and classical music.

Yet they did what any super talented and self-conscious youngster would have done in their position: gave zero f***s about that "burden," enjoyed life, and experimented in all kinds of ways!

After heavily contributing to the definitive establishment of Austria and Vienna on the worldwide Techno music map (under their iO alias), they used another of their multiple monikers to deliver listeners with a comprehensive compendium of their multi-faceted sound explorations range: Slut's 'n Strings & 909.
In times where political correctness was as known and revered (or feared) as memes, such an artist name was perfect to accompany outrageously good and madcap electronic jams with an outrageously silly and flamboyant image, in perfect 90s style.

'Carrera' is undoubtedly one of the Ferraris, or erm...maybe I should say Porsches, of Cheap Records' catalog.
