For analog machine freaks like Pulsinger & Tunakan, getting acquainted with master of minimal synthesis Mika Vainio must have been a sort of natural thing. Getting along with one another supposedly too, considering the instinctual respect and kind of awe Vainio's ethereal, only apparent nihilism could inspire (the importance of Barcelona as a formidable melting pot of electronic music luminaries during the decade between 1995 and 2005, is often forgotten).
Having him contribute to the label was both an honor and a sign of distinction.
The rest and best part are done by the music, as it always should be.
'Keimola' is arguably the most well-rounded single EP of dancefloor-friendly jams ever by the Finnish pioneer and appreciated as such by many.

Curiosity pill: Keimola was the name of a race track located in the Finnish municipality of Vantaa, north of Helsinki. It hosted different races between 1966 and 1978, including a unique prototypes series called 'Interserie,' the first edition of which had been won by Austrian legend Jochen Rindt. Keimola's karting track is also where future double F1 world champion Mika Häkkinen took his first steps into the world of racing.
